Our Founders

Irani Bazar was born from a deep passion for Iranian culture and a desire to share its rich heritage with the world. Founded by Sadiqul Islam Shafi and Sajidul Islam Ifti, we envisioned a platform that would connect Iranian heritage with Bangladeshi audience. Driven by our love for Iranian cuisine, culture and craftsmanship, we embarked on a mission to curate a collection of authentic Iranian products, preserving traditional techniques and supporting local communities.

Irani Bazar’s Founder, Sadiqul Islam Shafi. His connection for Iran runs deep, stemming from an extended period living in the country. This experience instilled in him a profound appreciation for Iranian culture, its vibrant bazaars, and rich heritage. While currently pursuing his studies in Computer Science at North South University and managing other business ventures, Shafi’s passion remains firmly rooted in sharing the beauty and authenticity of Iran with a global audience. He brings his entrepreneurial spirit and technical expertise to Irani Bazar, driving the platform’s vision and ensuring its seamless operation.

Sadiqul Islam Shafi

Sajidul Islam Ifti’s dedication lies in serving others, a passion that is reflected in his pursuit of a medical degree at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Through his studies, Sajid has gained a deep understanding of the importance of health and well-being, particularly the benefits of natural and authentic products. This knowledge inspired him to co-found Irani Bazar, with the aim of sourcing the highest quality, often organic, goods that Iran has to offer. Sajid’s commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle and his understanding of the power of natural ingredients are at the heart of Irani Bazar’s product selection and mission.
